DataArt participated in Microsoft .NET Early Adopter Program
DataArt was selected among 40 other software companies worldwide in Microsoft .NET Early Adopter Program (EAP). As a part of the program, our developers had access to the latest software development tools within Microsoft .NET framework, including beta versions and knowledge base information.
DataArt software for .NET Beta 1 was exhibited in Redmont
DataArt developed a flexible records system for Microsoft .NET Beta 1 and exhibits it in Redmont, Washington. DataArt invested in other sample development projects based on the new platform.
DataArt officially became a Microsoft Certified Partner
We proudly hold this title since then. As of 2020, DataArt proved Gold competence in Application Development, Cloud Platform, Datacenter, Windows and Devices, along with multiple Silver competencies.
DataArt was mentioned during Visual Studio .NET launch
DataArt logo, among other Microsoft partners’ logos, appeared on the roll-up behind Bill Gates during official presentation of Visual Studio .NET at the VSLive! conference in San Francisco.
DataArt “Russian .NET Team” was formed
“Russian .NET Team” aka professional Microsoft .NET development force was formed. It was responsible for research of the latest software releases, testing new technologies and knowledge sharing.
DataArt Finance Practice was founded
One of DataArt’s clients was a large hedge fund, Alexandra Investment Management. Based on the industry experience we gained while working with this and other similar clients as well as our expertise in Microsoft stack, DataArt started Finance Practice, the first industrial specialization. Shortly after this, we signed contract with several new financial accounts.
DataArt became Microsoft Gold Certified Partner
As of 2020, DataArt proved Gold competence in Application Development, Cloud Platform, Datacenter, Windows and Devices, along with multiple Silver competencies.
DataArt supported Microsoft User Groups
Open technologic communities, Microsoft User Groups, were founded and supported in DataArt locations: Voronezh and Kherson. The communities held regular meetings, where engineers share knowledge and experience with Microsoft technologies.
DataArt released DeviceHive, an IoT platform on MS Azure
DeviceHive is an open source IoT/M2M framework deployed on Microsoft Azure. It was commercially supported by DataArt’s IoT Practice. DeviceHive allows to bootstrap development of smart energy, home automation, remote sensing, telemetry, and much more. More about DeviceHive.

DataArt partnered with Microsoft and Canonical at NY Open Source IoT Summit to showcase industrial predictive maintenance and home IoT scenarios that can be prototyped, scaled and deployed in the cloud. More about DeviceHive.
DataArt’s DeviceHive won Microsoft Partner of the Year Award
DataArt won Microsoft Partner of the Year Award for Azure Certified ISV Solution in Russia, demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. DataArt proved .NET competency in a large banking client project
DataArt developed a scalable, highly customizable online (web and mobile) banking and payment platform for an innovative U.S.-based provider. The turnkey system by DataArt enables businesses to provide their customers with deposit, saving and payment functionality under their own brand. The platform was built on .NET.
DataArt received Microsoft Gold Cloud Platform Competency
DataArt received a Gold Cloud Platform Competency certification from Microsoft. This 6th Gold certification adds to DataArt’s growing list of Microsoft certifications alongside Gold competencies in Business Intelligence, Collaboration & Content, Application Development, Application Integration, and Mobility Solutions as well as a Silver Midmarket Solution Provider Competency.
DataArt proved its Azure competency in a large client project
With its expertise in Microsoft technologies, DataArt containerized and deployed legacy applications of a leading company in commercial foreign exchange in Azure Service Fabric. The bundling of Windows Docker (with IIS) with Service Fabric eliminated the need for classic Azure services without any significant investment in system overhauls.
DataArt built Skillotron, a gamified educational platform on MS Azure
DataArt released Skillotron, a gamified quiz platform, hosted on Microsoft Azure. Over 30K registered professionals and enthusiasts from 105 countries have already tested their knowledge while having fun answering 3500+ questions in 21 categories related to popular programming languages and technologies, general IT and geek culture. DataArt built a robust fund administration platform on .NET and MS Azure
DataArt developed a fund administration services platform for a global provider that offers complete package of services (broker reconciliation, NAV calculation, investor reporting/mailing). The platform was built on .NET and hosted on MS Azure.

DataArt designed and implemented Data and Analytics components, with Azure Data Warehouse, for a SaaS platform operated by a leading hospitality technology company.
DataArt built a digital safety resource, hosted on MS Azure free of charge
DataArt, together with Dot Com Children’s Foundation and Essex Police, launched an online safety resource at a primary school in Thurrock, Essex. DataArt built the platform free of charge, and Microsoft agreed to host the platform on its Azure Cloud at no cost. DataArt developed a blockchain-based loyalty app for 3M, a global conglomerate, operating in the fields of industry, worker safety, health care, and consumer goods that applies science in collaborative ways to improve lives daily. The app is built on a Verisium blockchain platform and Microsoft Azure making all data storage immutable and compliant. More details.
DataArt developed PoCs of gesture recognition on Microsoft technologies
A team at DataArt’s creative tech incubator, TalentLab, developed a PoC of using touchless technologies in public interfaces, based on the Project Prague library by Microsoft, a cutting-edge hand gesture tracking SDK, and Intel® RealSense™ SR300 camera. The software transforms touch interfaces, potentially hazardous during the pandemic, into touchless ones. More PoCs.
DataArt released a Cloud Expert Bot on MS stack
DataArt developed and released a Telegram bot that, by collecting a user’s answers to the set of questions, estimates high-level costs of migration from on-premise infrastructure to MS Azure.
